As urban continues to evolve, electric scooter are becoming an essential part of daily commuting and weekend adventures. The Tomofree L7 Electric Scooter was designed with this exact vision in mind — delivering power, style, and practicality in one sleek package.
In this blog, we’ll walk you through the key advantages of the L7, openly address some of the challenges found in the first launch batch, and explain how we’re actively improving the product based on real customer feedback.
Why Choose the L7 Electric Scooter?
⚡ Extreme Power with Dual Motors
The L7 is equipped with dual 3000W motors (6000W total output), delivering instant torque and powerful acceleration. With a top speed of up to 50 MPH, it’s built not only for city streets, but also for open roads, outdoor riding, and light off-road terrain where strong power truly matters.
🔋 High-Capacity 60V 35Ah Battery
Powered by a 60V 35Ah battery, the L7 offers extended range and stable power delivery for longer rides. Whether you’re commuting, exploring outdoors, or riding at higher speeds, the battery is designed to support real-world performance without constant recharging.
🛠 Bold Design Built to Stand Out
The L7 features a futuristic, aggressive design that’s instantly recognizable. Available in yellow and blue, with an optional seat, it combines visual impact with functional engineering — making it as eye-catching as it is capable.
Common Feedback from the First Batch and Our Response
1. “Why did my scooter arrive in two packages? Assembly felt complicated.”
This is one of the most discussed points online, so we want to clarify it clearly.
What happened:
For the first launch batch, the total package weight exceeded FedEx / UPS single-package limits. To comply with shipping regulations and avoid damage during transit, we had to ship the side panels separately, resulting in two packages.
What this meant for customers:
● Side panels required manual installation
● During installation, the side light cable must be routed and connected behind the battery
● Some users temporarily moved the battery to plug in the cable
What we’ve already fixed:
✅ From the second batch onward:
● The L7 ships in one single box
● 98–99% pre-assembled
● The only required step is installing the handlebar
This significantly improves the unboxing and first-ride experience.

2. “It looks like screws are going directly into the battery.”
We understand why this raised concerns, and we appreciate users calling it out.
Important clarification:
The battery is normally glued and securely fixed at the bottom of the deck. It is not designed to sit directly under the screws.
What caused confusion in some videos:
● During side panel installation, some users temporarily moved the battery
● If the battery is not placed back in its exact position, it can appear misaligned
● This can visually make it look like screws are sitting on the battery, even though that is not the intended configuration
This is not a design where screws penetrate or rest on the battery.
What we’re doing next:
✅ We are currently R&D-ing a removable battery with a protective case, which will:
● Improve safety perception and structure
● Make maintenance easier
● Better support outdoor and multi-scenario use

3. “Stability could be better, especially off-road.”
This feedback is fair — and expected for a scooter designed to go beyond smooth pavement.
Our perspective:
The L7 was designed for light off-road, not extreme trail riding. However, we agree that more stability improves confidence across all terrains.
What’s in progress:
✅ Larger tire sizes (up to 12-inch) are currently under testing
● These upgrades aim to deliver:Better traction
● Improved shock absorption
● More stability on gravel and uneven surfaces
Future versions of the L7 will include these improvements.
